Polar express was excellent! Very fun for our 3 year old. Definitely purchase tickets ahead, fills up quickly. We did presidential and it was very comfortable. I heard that coach gets very warm. Staff was exceptional, really made for a …
Such a lovely experience here at the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad. Tickets are about $17 after tax for each adult which is not bad for a 40 minute ride. There is a little gift shop by the boarding platform where you can buy souvenirs, snacks …
Buying the tickets online was a bit confusing. We waited until we arrived at the shop and saw there were pictures there of the type of car each ticket was for thankfully. …
This is a short and sweet train adventure that captures the attention of our curious 2-year old. The historic train cars are fun for all ages, but we’ve taken more than one train ride given the fascination of our little one. The gift shop …
Polar Express on the Narrow Gauge is a special family experience. The staff works so hard to make the trip to the north pole exciting and memorable for kids of all ages.
After my sunset boat ride was cancelled do to fog, I settled for a railroad ride which I would say is better for kids and for those who are tried from all the walking in old port area. My wife and I and a few other people had a beer along the ride which was nice. The whole ride lasted 40 mins.
The train is really cute, the ride is nice. But the price was kind of steep 30 minutes in total on the train, 10 minute stop $35 for two people. It was OK but not worth that amount of money. We had just done s three and a half hour Casco Bay mail boat, cruise for the same price much more worth it!
Relaxing and informative 40-min 3-mile train ride. $17 per person as of 9/23. Clean restrooms and interesting souvenirs at the store.
First time in Maine, and I was looking for activities for my kids, and I saw the Narrow Gauge Railroad. It was a fun experience! My kids loved it. They were a bit disappointed that it only lasted 40 minutes. I was a bit disappointed too …
